January 7, 2017 (1.7.17) was our original wedding date.
Everything was set and suppliers were booked until we found out I was pregnant with
BB2! I quickly postponed everything because I don't want to be in a
hurry and I was so damn sure that I will still have that baby weight by then!
Lucky for us, we didn't have to pay additional fees for postponing the big day
and I still had enough time to burn those fats!
6 months postpartum, I said it's time, no more excuses. I want to exercise not because I have extra flabs hanging around my waist, but because I
feel the need to regain my strength and energy. Exercise was also my me-time and it definitely helped fight back postpartum
depression.
What a good timing, my friend Kats told me she joined the
KFIT program. It's an app where you can workout in different places for 10
sessions monthly only at P1,299. I think it's such a great deal since you can
try yoga, pilates, boxing and regular gym workout at a lower price and in studios conveniently located near you (I usually get
bored if it's just one location and one kind of workout). You just have to schedule in
advance but cancel before deadline so you won't be charged with the
P200 penalty.
Since we live in Katipunan, here are my go-to classes because they’re convenient and effective!
White Space Mind and Body Wellness Studio and Life Yoga
Barre3 in Trinoma. This is Kats, my fitness buddy 4LYF.
HIIT in Elorde Katipunan. Class picture with coach @hiitleredward
and Sundays I go to Life Yoga BGC. My favorite is their Hot Beat class
It helps to have an app like this to keep track of your
workout sched plus it pushes you to really workout (sayang naman if you pay but
you always cancel). Also, I'm glad that Kats always as in ALWAYS makes kulit to
attend yoga classes. I recommend this to Moms and office slaves who want to jumpstart a
good workout habits but doesn't have the time to go hardcore in the gym. Hopefully, we all get to stick to this routine
especially now that Christmas season is coming up!
